Why I started this.

Cooking food has been around since we first discovered how to harness fire.
Yet when I talk to people every day at my job, some seem to approach food
and cooking like jumping out of plane.
I think that's silly. Food and cooking should be fun the second you first open your
new cook book, or pick that product off the shelf you can barely pronounce. Every
year we get more fusion, more choices, and more ways to prepare and serve.
More organic, local, and global ingredients are as accessible as a click and a card number away, or at your local market!
On top of me covering recipes that I make at home, and the stories that go along with it, I will
cover some of the past, present, and future of where food, ingredients, and techniques are going or have been.
Mostly I want cooking and discovering new things that have to do with food to be as exciting as it is for me, because remember ... It's just food.
